I actually like what happened in the ASM story with Venom. I just wonder if it'll ever make it to continuity. I assume it takes place after Secret Invasion and the story that's just getting started in Moon Knight... I think it would be cool if once or twice a year Marvel would release a continuity guide of some sort. Not that I'm a stickler for it, but when pieces do fit together, it would be nice to know where from time to time. Just a thought. Also Depths was gorgeous. Great show!

i don't like to think about the continuity of asm at the mo... because it always brings me back to cap. cap's death affected peter parker a lot more than most - and he left cap originally to protect mj and may... so how does the past year of his life with civil war and cap's death effect him? did it happen?

i have to agree depths was great... i can see myself getting everything i would want in a submariner story over this arc. fingers crossed.

Submariner #1 really intrigued me, and the art was very well done. I'll definitely be picking-up issue two because Namor needs to star in more of his own books.

As for Marvel Apes #1, I wish I could go back in time and tell my past self not to even bother reading that garbage. It was truly an atrocious series and concept. MAD Magazine did an all monkey edition a few issues ago, and THAT was funny. Marvel Apes = far from it.

i think marvel knights is definately the place to do a submariner story... as they don't have to concentrate as much on what i call the "POW! THWACK!" side. i am really lucking forward to the next issue!

as for marvel apes... the less said the better! i am very annoyed at the punisher war journal gibbon work being pissed on, as it really tapped into a fantastic and incredibly under used facet to modern superhero comics. plus pwj #4 is one my favourite single issue comics of the past ten years.

i know! i'm glad, but a tiny bit dissapointed! it's great... but marvel should have never gone with the one more day/brand new day thing.

mary jane will be back by issue #600 anyways! that's what newsarama said anyway... then things can really get back on track.

you are totally right about the ranking! from next week... that will be part of the show.

iron man was better... but the last 2 issues fit together brilliantly... one was the build up with a lot of dialogue... and this was all action that got my heart racing a little! literally!

i can see the submariner turning out good... but i think it should be a tbp purchace!

it could have been funnier - but playing off crap one-worders like "boomerangutan" isn't worth a mini series... maybe a double sized one shot but that's about it.

the punisher cover war particularly funny! ...but the main cover's cap wasn't even the one in the book! that pissed me off a little!
