  • The PRIVATE prison system is using CHEAP LABOUR to produce CORPORATE goods. What does this sound like to you? Certainly not justice. It is in the interests of the Capitalist society to lock people up for the smallest misdemeanour. Justice will not be served until the monetary system fails.

  • Sadly the majority of the crowd I grew up with spent time in juvinile centers. Even worse, my own brother did 5 yrs.

ALL of them have ended up back in jail (which is county under 2 yrs) and many went off to state prison (anything over 2 yrs) for extended stints.

Every child that I knew who went in, told me horror storys, from sexual abuse to physical violence. Every one also came out in a more negative state of mind, with new talents of crime that they had learned.

    The current System is BS

  • Kid's who spend the age's of 14/18 year's old where 5 time's more likely to have post traumatic stress disorder then military man and woman who have returned from war zones. that's proof that all of these places Need to be closed down for kid's who are not violent. I spent 11/2 year's in one for smoking weed and failing a few drug test. The same thing happened to my friend who's dad was a lawyer and rich, she didn't spend one day gone from her family Just because i was poor and i had to go. wtf

  • In California inmates work for penies making goods that will be transported between prisons. Then the state gets the bill like goods were bought from a store.

  • we know that we live in a scary world when you can be sent to prison for failing to be enthusiastic enough about to school to turn up there..

  • When the Private Prison Industry makes it into your state move ! they are bad on local law and local government they lobby for lame state laws for longer sentences

  • pardon my horrid spelling.

  • She didnt of course, but this is how they treat people in jail, like lifetime crimininals for stupid ish. We got Casey Anthony going free but a 15 year old truant goes to jail til he is 60. SMH.

  • is there a reason the interviewer talks over the guest? Okay besides that, we know that the "system" doesn't care to help the kids, they just want money from private contracts, and prison and war in this country is a money maker. A female friend of mine did 30 days 8 years ago for some probation violation stuff (she and her son's father used to get into it alot and he called th police on her to be spiteful) and she said that while in there, they told her, oh you'll be back.

  • @thedriftmc Unfortunately, my friend is living in a small town where the police harass (and fine him if at all possible) for every little thing. They say that everyone there ends up in jail one way or another. I hope he doesn't end up in jail; he is a hard working, honest man who actually stays out of trouble. It is not his fault the police are jerks. I have lived there myself, so I'm not just going by what he said, this is what I've seen.
