The BG 380 and LCP with a laser are bout the same price around here. At my gun shop I paid $350 for the BG380 and the LCP was $269.00 and with the laser it was about $150 extra so the BG was a well better deal. Now I'm not to fond of the laser buttons on the BG but its not like I'm gonna have time to turn it on. Now the laser on the LCP is perfectly placed. Good video

@rhcmlc I believe that i can draw the weapon out faster if on the waist rather than in the pocket though.

@rhcmlc it fits in my front jeans pocket. standard front pocket, not the smaller coin pocket on the front right side. i wear size 38 Old navy carpenter's jeans. it does not fit in the pocket in the rear right leg thigh though. my friend's LCP will though, but it's too snug of a fit.
I have a custom made IWB kydex holster that works great though.

I like my bg .380 no jams yet 500+ rounds of assorted ammo. It does have a long trigger pull and the laser was hard to activate before I Jerry-rigged it. But these things aside it is a great, concealable pistol.

after 400 rounds of cruddy winchester, no FTF FTL with my BG380. I love this little gun and hate everything about the LCP except the looks of it. Name it and I will prefer the BG380 more in comparison in every category. S&W made a better product in my opinion. I've had range time with the LCP and I cannot get over my disgust with that gun. It is what it is, but the BG380 is better. Spend the extra on the BG. The difference is seen more than just on the laser.

@wheel58 are you being sarcastic? I can't tell. I purposely turned down plenty of chances to pick a $300 LCP and decided to get the BG380. I hadn't even heard of the BG380 before I bought it that day. I have no regrets. In fact i'm taking the BG, my P99c and my P22 to the range this saturday. fun fun fun fun lookin forward to the weekend.

@fwbrc51 Not being sarcastic at all. I was sold on the LCP.... but after listening to everyone gripe about it and how much better the Bodyguard is I am changing my view. (I wish I the BG had the LCP Laser) Have fun at the range tomorrow!
