Spence-Chapin Adoption Service - A bad place for a child...

I am a child abuse survivor. I suffered greatly and witnessed my four adopted brother get tortured and abused. Spence-Chapin Adoption Service is the agency that managed our adoptions. I was beaten unmercifully. It pains me to have to speak about an American Adoption Agency in this manner. The deal is that we can learn from our mistakes. All I want is Spence-Chapin Adoption Service to make notable changes that will protect children from abuse that they place. Help me stop child abuse on the Black Child.

Thank You for ur kind and supportive message. I am not a big fan of adoption especially after a person reaches the age of 21. Birth mothers need to recognize that adoption should be a temporary situation. The adoptee deserves to have access to the rest of his or her biological family...Peace.

How do you know. I happen to have witnessed and suffered the worst child neglect and child abuse case in Spence-Chapin. I was being beating and eating human waste out of the toilet by the parents that Spence-Chapin assigned me to. I did call Spence-Chapin and they told my parent abuser and I got the worst beating of my life. Abuse as a child is no joke. Just because Spence-Chapin has enough money to look good does not mean they are perfect. They made a mistake that cost me my life. Peace.

This is no joke. I am a real human being. Damaged as I may be from my childhood experience. I was left with enough sanity to represent children who are abused and forgotten. I want folk who put children up for adoption to be responsible for these children. I am sure Spence-Chapin has done its share of good things since its inception. But they left five African American innocent boys left for dead. I was literally tormented everyday and/or witnessed my adopted brothers begging for their life.

@spencechapin -mothers i talked to some attempted suicide after loss of kids to services-mothers are told that moms visits w child makes kids cry & is bad for them(kids beg to come home to mom/grandma)- & most former fosterchildren told me their workers or foster said "your mom told us she doesnt want you"-so secrets/lies are kept-see "unrepentant"- i almost lost my kids (divorced from violent dad)when christian woman w foster mother friend decided they wanted $ steal my kids-moms got no union

I am so so sorry that you had to go through this. I hear anti-choice advocates say all the time, "adoption is the best course of action for kids" yet they ignorantly and willfully ignore the plight of people like you.
