  • as 4ch do you get airelon control? thx

  • Yes, aileron, elevator, rudder and throttle.

The rudder is not overly effective though.

  • Hey i noticed you are using a 2.4ghz transmitter. Im curious, what radio gear do you have in there? Also, what motor setup are you using? I have this exact same model but the current radio gear that came with it as well as the servos are pretty crap! Also, mine came with a brushed motor so i was also curious if you had a brushless in there!?

    Thanks!

  • I am using a Spektrum DX-7 with an AR6000 receiver.

The motor is a 1000 kv brushless which, with a

    10.5 x 6 prop, pulls about 15 amps.

I had to re-enforce the nose by bolting some circuit board front and back to stiffen the nose up. Others have used fibre glass instead.

I can comfortably get about 15 mins of flying time (as you can see from the video I don't spend too much time gliding).

I also ran fibreglass tape across the wing, top and bottom for a bit of extra strength.

  • @CaptBiggles42 ..Can you do a vid showing just the up-grades you've done...

These Gliders are getting very popular now...

theres no Vids on Youtube that I can find showing what you can do to it...

  • @blingyruss ...YES..!!!!!

  • @aenoch75 ..tell me...first fly with mine and I broke the prop

  • Hi..I've just got on of these 4ch Sky Hawks from Hong Kong....

How do I set the C of G , before I take it out for my first fly...

    Regards . . Sean

  • watch when u start with this one, the props are very easily broken make sure the motor isnt running near the ground

  • is their sound or is it my computer

  • yes i have one i took it upside down crashed so hard it still flies

  • it isn't hard to keep it in the air just make some practice runs with a simulator or just toss it without the motor and just glide like 5 meter to see how it reacts and make sure that the wings are symetric

  • the fuselage is made of plastic

the main wing is made of foam

the plane is very hard to keep in the air

  • Hey im thinking of getting one of these, what is the fuselage and main wing made of, and how good is the control surfaces and gliding properties of this plane, thanks
