Word is that these are junk because of the heat. Just google hp envy overheat. It is incredible that HP did not recall these. The 17 is like a furnace. Bad HP do the right thing.

havent seen hp in years and now comes out the envy series, i knew i should hold a little longer to get this baby on hands, design looks like macboob pro tho, but with laser imprint design on the palmrest makes this notebook a real premium quality... awesome! better hardware and not overprice, best bang for the bucks :D

I have one, its great, a bit anoying because of the i7, but its lightweight and powerful. and the screen incredible

whoa, do these get hot or what, when I worked in bestbuy, a customer bought an envy 17 inch (top model), and just at IDLE it was so hot that I couldn't keep my hands on the bottom for long
