@XhyperTNN Before 1:32 he plays with octaves, so only E and D string, with A string muted (he talks about it at 2:37). After 1:32 he adds that A string, thus making a power chord, which sounds heavier.

@cbay07 Thats Slash’s second “Rist” burst. His first one was bought in 1984 from Guitars R Us in L.A. during the early years of GnR, it was made by a man named Roman Rist. He played the guitar a lot, but had to pawn it for heroin in 1986. He came in contact with Rist some time ago, and bought this guitar from him.
