Our Founding Fathers didn't build mega-churches like we have today. They were a mega-Church! The Scotch-Irish Presbyterians brought the Westminster Standards with them. The Dutch Reformed brought the Triple Unity with them. And the Baptists brought the London Confession of Faith with them. They emphasized Calvinist doctrine, not the glory of their meeting hall. Back then, the average person knew more Scripture than most of our ministers today. And, unlike most of our ministers today, they believed in the doctrines of Grace!
It takes a great people to make a great country; and it takes Calvinism to make a people great!
