Recently news has spread about a dirty little secret most lock smiths have known for years.
Almost any lock can be opened in less than a minute by a person with no lock picking skills at all.
In the video below you can see an 11 year old girl use a bump key to open a lock.

What is really sad about the criminal intent behind "bumping"... You can spend the extra money on a pick or bump proof lock... The criminal will just break a window or kick the door in to gain entry. Adding insult to injury ... Locks are made for honest people...
