they dont make music like this anymore. the days of American Football, Sam i am, Rites of spring, cap'n jazz and many other great bands have fallen to the wayside. now im stuck in a musical world where auto tune reigns and i want to blow my head off...

I wish so hard that this record had been mastered properly. They're all great songs, but the lyrics/vocals get obscured and it makes it difficult to properly enjoy. I'm not a music snob like people who complain about this usually are, but in some cases it's pretty apparent. Oh wells, still a great band and song.

Yeah... but the general public wouldn't know good music if it slapped them in the face. All they know is top 40 radio and MTV.

I sure wish there was some way to teach the rest of the general public what the hell they're talking about when they use the term "emo" in such negative connotations. To this day I feel a little part of me die every time someone refers to something as "emo" as an insult, and with such ignorance of what the hell it actually means, and where it comes from. And how the term emo has never meant what it's now stereotyped as.

This entire album, and the song "I Haven't Slept". Don't see how this isn't emo, since emo isn't and has never been a definitive style of music, contrary to the overwhelming popular belief. Unfortunately.

Wow. You're really lucky, The Anniversary has been one of my favorite bands for the last 10 years, sad to say I never got to see them perform. They were around for such a brief period of time, but left behind one of the greatest albums to ever be made. Period.

The entire point of this video is making fun of music videos from that period of time, so I do believe they would agree with you that it doesn't look cool.
