@Juanod09 Its limited to 30 minutes continuous recording, after reaching the limit, you can record another 30 minutes. Outside Europe the recording time is unlimited, for example, USA.

@swanty32e .. ...96x ?? yeah right ....but you maybe can get more than that size of 96x zoom .

If you reduce the size of Megapixels from 14 Megapixels to 3 Megapixels you may reach up to 200x Digital Zoom and also 50.6x for Extra Optical Zoom. (Remember: use only 2 or 3 Megapixels to get this HUGE ZOOM). I knew this because I had an old camera Panasonic FZ 18.

@Juanod09 both FZ40/45 and FZ100 can go up to 96x zoom (optical+digital)

@Juanod09 You don`t need digital zoom, when it has 24x optical zoom....digital zoom is pretty useless....

About Panasonic FZ40 : I want to ask you, what is the functions of the PANORAMA MAKER ( in scene modes)? What kind is the panorama maker, still pictures ,or a video ? How many digital zoom do the FZ 40/100 have( 100 x , or 200 x)? .......Who can answer me .......??
