Thank you. The Edwards person is obviously a complete idiot - perhaps he or she should post a video of them performing this so the rest of us can see how he/she thinks it should sound :-)
I didn't skip the last sleep .... I did the low ... erm I think it is an f or an e. Maybe I should have sung it louder as I actually have strong chest voice and get down to a low b flat (but avoid it since I sound like a man ...... bluh .....).
The reason for a lot of pitch problems is the soft palette. Feel like you're about to pop your ears when you sing. Also, feel a buzz in your nose. Sing everything as nasal as you can get it then back it up a step. The sound is too far back. You also need to work on supporting with your abdominal muscles. Drop your jaw, lose all the tension in your face when you breath in. Keep the consonants in the front of your face, and the sound back a bit. You're tone is beautiful, enjoy it more.
Even if it were true, and it is not, how dare you try to crush someone who is trying to do something this difficult? I didn't see anyone in the audience leaving.
However, their are a few pitch issues. This is not an easy piece to sing. I speak from expereince. Did you skip the last "sleep"?
The vibrato is a little uneven. One thing I noticed is that you seem to be letting the note settle before you allow the natural vibrato to come in. If you hold it back that much it sounds unnatural and under pitch. Lift your soft palette a bit more almost as if you are ready to yawn.
You have a nice quality in your voice. Keep training!
First of all, she isn't flat. The opera was written that way to depict harsh times. Secondly, her vibrato is fine. You just don't like it because you are used to popular music of today where people don't really use proper vibrato. I know because I go to a college where opera is one of our biggest things. If you don't really know what you're talking about edwars then don't even try to comment. BTW Kirsty, good job. It was beautiful.

This is very terrible...i hope you are not singing professionally and getting paid for this performance....you are incredibly flat...almost always consistently under the pitch...your vibrato is so wide and uneven...almost at the level of a wobble...i don't know what else to say, but stop putting people throught this torture by singing....Sorry!!!!

Ignore this edwards person. You don't have a vibrato problem, and as for "wobble" - please. You're not a boy soprano...obviously. :)
