I took my Traxxas Stampede 4x4 VXL with a 2S Venom Lipo 5000mah 40C battery out and did some bashing, wheelies, burnouts, rollovers. I compiled all the videos together and added music. I drove over small rocks, large rocks, grass, dirt, through some small streams. I also found a kids play area with a jungle gym area. The truck currently is running the stock gearing with a 11 tooth pinion and 54 tooth spur gear. I will be trying out the 17 tooth pinion to see how fast I can get it and see if it still has good torque. I filmed all parts with a GoPro or GoPro HD camera either mounted to the truck itself or around it. The Stampede is stock except for the 2S Lipo battery.

  • Hi, how you mounted the gopro on stampede. could you upload a photo?

    excellent video.

    regards

  • @Camilodominguezg I used a roll cage mount on the front bumper of my Stampede and my GoPro Hero 2 camera. if you go to flickr and search for Moody03SVT user photos you will find it there. Or do a flickr search for - LilJoe-GoProMountFront-NoBody

  • does the "JConcepts" internal body cause heat issues?

  • @3randomers3RETURN it definitely will trap heat so you need to make cutouts that will allow heat to escape and even better cutouts that will allow air to be drawn in.

  • Nice vid great camera work!!!

  • @jondoporcyk I think its close to that. the minimum you want the battery to drop to is 6.0v and although I wish it would run a bit lower I believe its just a safety mechanism.

  • @HobbyJunkeyMan tough call. I have never owned an e maxx. I think its bigger and heavier which some say is a bad thing if you do crash it.

  • @moodyj on 2s my stampede 4x4 cuts off at 7.0 volts is that right? what does yours cut off at?
