Colon Cancer Challenge - NYC 2011

CCCF is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization registered in New York State and listed by the Federal IRS as a public charity dedicated to reducing colorectal cancer incidence and death. CCCF is dedicated to A World Without Colorectal Cancer. CCCF actively participates in public awareness events and community-based groups in order to build awareness of genetic risk factors,the importance of annual screening and prevention, sponsors prevention programs that serve New York City and one or more elements of the mission of the CCCF, raises and disburses funds to programs that provide screening services for uninsured clients and assist them in obtaining services and support to maximize their ability to overcome cancer and provides financial support to individuals and organizations that are leading innovative research programs for the prevention and cure of colorectal cancer, CCCF strives to create strategic alliances and partnerships with health professionals and community organizations to exchange experiences, develop approaches to improve services, and increase screenings and influence policy makers.
