Live long enough and after the singularity we could all become gods of our own universes, not virtual universes, but real universes like the one we're living in now. I want to stick around as long as I can just to see what happens if for no other reason.
Genetics reset body to handle previous behavior. Prepare for hard work & caloric deprivation w/short, random spurts of fasts & high intensity exercise. Sleep rebuilds & re-energizes. Hygiene lowers bacterial/viral/fungal loads, for immunity to handle: Mechanical cleansing,(water/friction/natural castile soap) + natural antiseptics: Ionic/colloidal silver, iodine, tea tree oil, salt. Don't smoke,use seat belt,stay married to someone you love, love your job . Live strong, don't worry about long.
Your wish is ultimately realistic: No one lives here forever, so why waste your time wishing for immortality? As far as rating life on Earth, however, you need more than one item to have a rating system. Believe with all your heart, as you choose, but unless you've died & come back with your memory intact, you don't don't know for sure how this life ranks :-)
Immortality: The ability to never die: A broader concept than you've considered. Even an IDEA can be immortal, if passed thru generations. Immortality of the family line is the only -biological- immortality that actually -can- exist for us: -Our- immortality, (as I wrote, read it again),the human race, not -my- immortality. Immortality of a single organism is just a hopeless, selfish wish. But in your case , it's a good thing to work on that wish: Please don't have any kids.
yeh well at least im not somone that believes in a concept that children bring you immortality, u must misunderstand the meaning of the word, sorry if my "dead-brain" cant comprehend the stupidity meaning u got out of such a word

@lazur1,
I don't want to live forever in my natural state. Life on earth is overrated.

Apparently you've already achieved the ultimate: A way to stay alive & (somewhat), functioning, after brain-death. Congratulations on that.
