Hey,
Here's a video of me playing a song that I wrote as a dedication to Tommy. I remembered that song out of nowhere as I actually wasn't planning to play it, but when I told him "there's a song for you that I..." he instantly said "oh, let's hear it."
It was a dream coming true getting to meet Tommy. Such an amazing player and nice person. The concert was great...

My performance is far from perfect... I was so nervous to play something for Tommy, especially that it was AFTER the concert. I got to meet him before and then after the concert!
Thanks to my brother for filming... (the noise in the back is the bus).
I hope you like it!
Take care,
- Yeman
How cool is that? Tommy Emmanuel is great--and you're pretty darned good yourself. It must have been a real thrill to play for the man. Too bad the bus was so loud and it was so dark--but still, very cool.:)

Very, Very, Very Cool! Yeman . . . that's a beautiful song you wrote for Tommy and to get the opportunity to play it for him too! Wow! You should record and post this one . . .

Awesome, Yeman! I've played for him a few times and there's nothing like it. The nicest, most complimentary, delightful human being on the planet. Always takes time for his fans. And beautiful tune that you wrote as well. He obviously liked it!! Way to go! Thanks for sharing! Bunny

Thanks for sharing this, Yeman ! Of course, the bus is quite irritating, but the tune you wrote sounds great. Must have been a funny kind of experience :-)
The blog on the forum is also very nice. I talked to Tommy twice after concerts in my area, and he really is one of the nicest persons on the planet. You´re lucky to have spent some precious extra time with him, but you also deserve it, cause your playing is really from the heart.
Cheers and all the best to you,
Matthias
