Dothan Police Seek Suspect in School Bus Shooting

The Dothan Police Department needs the public's assistance in identifying and locating a shooting suspect. On Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at approximately 2:30 p.m., a Dothan City School bus was traveling east bound in the 800 block of Murray Road. The suspect vehicle described as a white full size Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck with an extended cab and toolbox, passed several vehicles in the turn lane and fired a shot into the side of the bus. There were no students on the bus at the time of the incident and no one was injured.

The suspect vehicle was last seen east bound from the 800 block of Murray Road. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or can identify the suspect vehicle is urged to contact the Dothan Police Department at 615-3000 or Crimestoppers at 793-7000.
