It is a known problem that long stumps don't allow to fit a lot of pin and wrist unit size unless the prosthesis ends up too long. Here is the workaround they built for me. There are shorter or smaller sized parts but why succumb!? A longer pin and longer bolt are nice because they offer greater mechanical stability.

0:08 - 0:09 - The bolt of the hand (and hook) was modified to contain a hole at the bottom.

0:10 - 0:12 - The pin that is attached to the liner protrudes all the way into the bolt socket. You can see it even better when I pull it out and push it back in.

0:16 - 0:17 - Pulling pin out for demnonstration.

0:18 - 0:19 - Pushing pin back in for demonstration.

0:28 - 0:30 - Almost perfect length with standard issue components.

Built by Balgrist Tec using Otto Bock parts.
