Finally, in a brief addressing of the issue, Al Jazeera has given a very short update on the Tunisia unrest:
Ben Ali has stated he will no longer be seeking to continue his reign after recent uprisings against him and his regime!

The battle is almost won, but justice and absolute peace has yet to be achieved, don't give up the battle!

@leakspinner yeah definitely a PR ploy, but at least a sign some effect is being made, that he has to start defending himself.

but continued pressure is a definite must. this doesn't end anything but finally a bit more mention of the event in majour media.
