@verseatilemusic I did not intend to start a quarrel, although it appears that these are inevitable on a site like this. I only meant to point out something that I saw was contrary to the Bible. The rest of the song is good. There is a difference between self-rightousness and instruction. I will openly admit I'm as sinful as any human, although I also acknowledge that God's grace is not a license to sin. That's all I have to say; good day.

@lionessofgod91 Arielle, if you are attacking me with Bible verses for saying the word "damn", not only are your actions being counterproductive in expanding God's love but it clearly shows where your heart is at... self-righteousness. You're missing the BIG picture of the message in this song. I spoke in a language that non-believers can understand and relate to without compromising my beliefs. God knows where my heart was at when I wrote this. Thank you for your visit and thoughts, God bless.

@desiredsn26 'All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.'-- 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
I liked this until you sang 'd*** right'. Putting a cuss word in a rap about Jesus? Really?---'But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. '-- Colossians 3:8. 'Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.' --Ephesians 5:4....

@lionessofgod91 I appreciate your references - I don't consider the word "damn" as cursing in the context of my verse. I didn't use it in any way to "invoke misfortune" nor "swear". It was simply used to emphasize the importance of my main message - sharing my faith by any means necessary. Being Christian doesn't make me sinless. Christ is my saviour because I sin and struggle, hence the line "testament of grace and mercy" since I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Him. Hope that brings clarity!

Verseatile, your rap towards the end reminded me to focus on God. I just recently went thru a bad breakup and my world has been shaken up. You eloquence helped me refocus on God and what is really important. You reminded me that there are souls at stake that are greater then what I'm feeling. If I just focus on God things will fall into place...thank you

@TheChavez42 Brother, thank you so much for sharing. Your comment has blessed me in return! I know that breakups can be disheartening, but keep your head up. Turn to God with your anxieties and heartaches, I promise the peace He provides will be far greater than any relationship you ever come across. Be encouraged that you go through hardship... it means that He's not done with you. God bless & be well always!
