Before we begin, I would like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for my life, and all the gifts which I've been given in it, including the ability to make this extension. Your name be glorified, my Savior, even in something as small as this. Amen.

Godzilla Battle Legends Extensions Folder: http://www.mediafire.com/?lkzjackhax53g
Today's episode of Amateur Extension Theater 2000 was created due to a temporal plot by the Futurians to put an end to Alkahest's quirky, pirate speaking and title dropping ways for good. But the fools -- they have in fact strengthened them a thousand fold! Mwahahahaha-arrrr!
Show of hands. Who here remembers the Turbo Duo CD system? ... I see. Well, for those of you who don't, it was an early attempt at a gaming console that relied on CD-ROMs. Like the Sega Dreamcast, it actually featured a pretty good (if small) collection of game titles during its short lifespan; Godzilla: Battle Legends is perhaps one of the finer titles ever produced for it.
Featuring a six stage single-player mode that pits you against some of his most famous Kaiju adversaries in a no-holds barred grudge match, and a two-player Versus mode where you can select all but two of them, this game was pretty awesome any way you chose to play it. A particularly cool feature was how in single-player mode, Godzilla's sprite model actually changed appearances to reflect the era of the movie he fought.
Ah, but we're here to discuss the music, aren't we? Alfa Systems did a spectacular job here, so much so that a number of the tracks from G:BL were reused in its SNES sequel, Godzilla: Daikessen. 'Abashiri Ohara Field: Theme of King Ghidorah' is probably not the real title of this track, but since there was never a full OST release (that I'm aware of), it'll serve as a passable form of identification.
Ghidorah must've been pretty pleased with himself; the infamous three-headed Kaiju terror had all three iterations of himself appear in the game, and even got two stage themes in his honor. This is the second, more terrifying version, heard when battling King Ghidorah's "Heisei" (90's franchise reboot) version. It's eerie, overwhelming, and paints a vivid scene of destruction -- a perfect leitmotif for one of Godzilla's best known adversaries. Strangely, it was his -other- stage theme that got carried over to Daikessen, "Total Destruction"... a good theme and all, but nowhere near as intimidating as this one, to me at least.
Well, I don't know about you all, but I could use a break from all this destructive evil and action based music. That's why our fifth and final extension for the week comes to us straight from Skies of Arcadia's purple-hued Lands of Ice! I do hope you'll enjoy. As always, take care, and may God bless.

Little does anyone suspect that Ghidorah's cells were secretly harvested by Nintendo and spliced with Dodo DNA to create the Pokemon known as Dodrio! Unless they read this stinger, of course... but the odds of that seem to be about three to one.
Can u upload Makuhari Bay-Mechagodzilla
ramque002 3 weeks ago
@ramque002 Yes, a very long battle indeed! ;) Also, yes, the Makuhari Bay battle with Super Mechagodzilla is coming up very soon. Before that, I'll be uploading the battle with 1970's Mechagodzilla, sometime next week; after that, definitely Makuhari Bay.

@ramque002 Good eye! I thought it was a cool touch in this game that Godzilla's model would change to resemble how he would've looked at the time each particular movie was produced.
