  • This is why the world needs to be more secular, not more mystic and religious

  • @dragonthunder2010 it is ironic that the dalai lama supporters "defend" and "support" their guru and spiritual leader by attacking DS practitioners. Dalai lama always gives Lojong teachings and teaches compassion but his own followers don't embody this at all.

Actually, it is the DS practitioners who are practising what DL promotes - which is kindness and non-violence. They never retaliate against all the harm & damage done to them

  • There is only one great problem in China - the brainwashed chinese people, who even do not understand the amount of Maoist destruction of their cultural heritage. Dear Chinese friends, please think about it - the communist ideas came to China from German second rate philosophers, through Russian bloody revolution of stupid and illiterate people, to the oldest and most cultuerd Cinese empire in the world - just to destroy your culture and to build a society of robot-idiots.

  • People please do your research before judging the Dalai Lama. He is right in denouncing these imposters.

  • All religions are irrational, so nothing here should be the least bit surprising. That being said, some irrational beliefs are less dangerous than others. The point is to get rid of irrational in all it's forms if possible.

  • I don't know what to make of this video I just came across Buddhism recently and now there is a divide between taking something someone said as influential and useful and taking something a culture of people have chosen to do on a whole; I can't fathom the decision to interpret information that way.

  • @Jaanakool2 What the heck are you on about? They have new schools, houses, hospitals, roads. The Chinese did them a HUGE favour if you ask me. Not to mention that the Chinese liberated them from religious serfdom and slavery. Now they live amongst the many other ethnic groups in China, and they do not even have to abide by the one-child policy that some other groups have to.

  • @TheRedNiece The reason he banned it is because the commitment to the practice is to be sectarian. HHDL's ecumenical position would be completely hypocritical if he did not address sectarianism within his own tradition.

  • Ah fuck the Shudgen bunch of cry babies if you ask me Lmao just bow to your Dalai Lama like your supposed to and life will be smooth for you all. They make there own problems, they had no issue conforming to new Chinese rule, do the same with you religion.

  • It is very clear why it is banned, for a good cause. From a simple buddhist practitoner view, One should learn tolerance and forgiveness. But these group went on protesting and resort to violence. It just show and further prove that they are not a genuine buddhist! It's pure common sense...
