Chas & Dave - Scruffy Old Cow

Originally released in more sedate form as a non-album B side to their first single 'Old Dog & Me' in 1975, a later more uptempo live version was issued on both 'Don't Give A Monkeys' (1979) & 'Live At Abbey Road' (1981). None of those can compare to this epic 9 minutes-plus version from 1982 though!

Despite their immense popularity, Chas & Dave are very poorly represented via YouTube. I have around 20 hours of footage (mainly from their 1979-1987 commercial & creative peak) so I've started this channel to share some of these classic performances. I'm always looking for more Chas & Dave footage (or upgrades of videos I already have), so if you have anything & feel like trading then please get in touch! Also let me know if there are any particular songs that you're after & I'll see if I can help. Please note this channel is not officially sanctioned by Chas & Dave, & any infringement of copyrights is unintentional; my sole aim is to promote their music to a wider audience.

@truewolfman7500 Unfortunately this has never been issued on DVD, only on VHS as 'A Great Night in With Chas & Dave' (easily available secondhand on Amazon or ebay). I wrote to the Chas & Dave official website about this recently & was told that the master tapes of both this & the 1988 'All The Best' VHS tape were destroyed in a fire, so there's little chance of them being issued.
