This is a documentary about Romero House, a community consisting of four houses and a community centre in the west end of Toronto. Since Romero House was founded in 1992, it has provided housing, settlement and advocacy services to more than 4,500 individuals and families. Romero House was named after the Archbishop Oscar Romero of El Salvador, who was martyred for his outspoken defense of the poor in his country. Romero House is a registered charitable organization.
