You have to remember the Sneaker Pimp guys wrote all the music. All Kelli had to do is show up and sing what they wrote.

i dont care what anybody says Kelli made the pimps...they haven't released a record in hella, and now they have another female singer, trying to copy the same thing again i guess?

I def prefer the SP version. This one reminds me too much of the Wicker Man one, and I enjoy covers that branch out a bit more...so the SP one had a nice original approach that I really enjoyed...

This is sort of disappointing =( Like not saying that as an insult...just makes me a bit sad she didn't do more with it.

Thank you dhowell... it isn't hard to find out who did this song, since it was from a cult classic film. These musicians should give it all to the 2 guys who wrote this song Gary Carpenter and Paul Giovanni [r.i.p.] of the band Lodestone/Magnet

Paul Giovanni, who died in 1990 was the co-composer of this song with Gary Carpenter. It is interesting that no one has attempted to their own original take on this song, instead doing it exactly verbatum from what was in the movie.
