This song was performed in Switzerland in Feb 1979, and is one of Abba's most sophisticated songs. Frida's perfect lead singing sets the very high standard, and Agnetha reaches her high notes to emphasise the chorus. The music is strong and classical style, to offset the girls super vocals. Bjorns lyrics are spot on and inventive as ever. Another great song that only Abba have the ability to produce. From Voulez-Vous album.

  • ABBA IN SWITZERLAND (SNOWTIME SPECIAL) features tunes from Voulez-Vous. They open in the U.N. costumes. Three sleepers are The King Has Lost His Crown, Kisses Of Fire and Lovers (Live A Little Longer). This is a high-spirited and colorful performance. There is insinuation in the comments about long, Swedish nights. They engage in winter sports, getting on skis for The Name Of The Game and on ice skates for Hole In Your Soul. Frida makes a pitch for the UNICEF Year Of The Child.

  • Ren nostalgi.

  • @LadyLyngstad77 I love all their outfits from the Voulez Vous period.

  • They seemed to know exactly which girl's vocals fitted where - a brilliant brilliant song.

  • Is it my imagination or do I sense a bit of hostility toward Agnetha from the Ladies ???

  • i saw this performance when ABBA staying in Switzerland, remeber it, incredible amazing. performance. Notthing to compare of today. Its a Top Notch !!

  • LOVE this song. Typically shows that many of their great songs were in fact album tracks. Forget "Does your mother know" this is one of the better tracks off Voulez Vous

  • Another ABBA gem! Thanks, Abbafanglosuk.
