I want to live forever no question about it. Everything in life in dictated by age, but if you became free of limited time you could be so much happier and relaxed and do much more.

Your opinion certainly echoes the ideology of those in control of this planet. Applying market principles to human life is not only bad logic, it's revolting.

Only a mind trained to view humans as cogs in a machine could assume that an increase in human quantity equals an overall decrease in the value of each human. Taken to its logical conclusion, your philosophy advocates the massacre of billions of people so that those remaining can be more valuable.

I never suggested such a thing... The leading social philosophers of our times including Issac Asimov, Daniel Dennet, Steven Pinker, and others have all suggested this concept. They didn't say they liked it, and nor do I, just because something is bad doesn't mean its not true though. I'm not applying market principles to people, I'm applying logic to society, and if you want to put it in perspective look up "The Most Important Video You'll Ever See" on youtube. I'm not cruel, merely a realist.

Sorry, but I just don't see any validity to your argument. I've already told you there is no such thing as actual immortality, just virtual immortality. The human lifespan has more than doubled through the ages. This is a result of our technological advancement. One day in the future, and assuming we don't go extinct, humans will be virtually immortal. It's just a continueance of what has already been occuring in the times prior.

Look up the video... Its basic math... The doubling time for 7% growth is 10 years, immortality, even virtual, would increase that exponent, by another factor. In the end all that means is somethings gotta give... Otherwise literally at human rate of expansion, plus immortality, there won't be enough land to occupy all the people... Seriously... But don't take my word for it, look it up, do the math, I don't have time to list the figures here, I gave you the video title...

Again, your math is based on the assumption of humans being stuck on the planet. In the future we won't be. We will colonize other planets, travel to stars, live on space stations, etc.

You said you didn't see the validity in my argument due to immortality not being literal, so I pointed out that the breakthrough in medical science that will supposedly bring about 'virtual immortality' will happen about 100 years before we can even consider populating other planets. Putting the two together brings you to the conclusion, that even virtual immortality will lead to something that will kill us off in a relatively short timeframe as a result of mathematical necessity.

Look, i'm done discussing this with you. It's getting to drawn out. Just remember through History all the people who claim something couldn't happen only to discover that it does or can.
