A very rushed video on gun control - and the 10 minute buffer....bascially when the hell are you going to use your guns and why on earth is it remotley a good idea for people to own them?

A few hundred characters isn't going to cover it, but essentially the IRA had to surrender, its ability to continue was totally compromised, but the UK govt had to make sure it kept Ireland and dissident republicans happy enough that they'd support joint rule. Effectively the IRA gave up and the unionists won

Your argument has too many assumptions, for one, you assume that a gun used on another human is used out of passion. Your argument assumes no nesscessity, sure no one started a revolution because of a Patriot Act, but things change, circumstances change, you never know when you would have to use it, thats why you have it, you acknowledge the tyranny in Democracy so you would have to understand if one day, tyrants go to far, then yes you would have to use it.
