Steny Hoyer, Democratic Whip, U.S. House of Representatives
House Democratic Whip Hoyer (D-Md.), the second-ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives, will discuss the "Make it in America" agenda: a Democratic legislative program designed to help American businesses innovate here, grow here, make products here, and sell them to the world. Hoyer will explain his belief that wise investments in innovation, infrastructure and education can create jobs in the U.S. and help our country regain its competitive edge in the world economy.

Lots of manufacturing jobs are disappearing due to automation. I know China is the usual scapegoat but they actually lost far more manufacturing jobs then the US did.
