Hmm. No amplifiers. Mimed to a pre-recorded performance???

Is Crosby under some sort of medicinal influence? e almost gets to the microphone.

Great history of the times then.

I went to dozens of Byrds gigs at the Village Gate (snaeaking in the side door, I was 15), and I learned this solo, and
"8 Miles High" by watching McGuinns hands. He was sort of like my guitar teacher, unpaid! LOL! Thanks Roger!
Crosby's tunings were useful as well. His "Renaissance Fair" part was brilliant
with the drop D tuning.
It was long ago and it was far away....

I dunno what I would have done with one of those obnoxious screaming girls if they'd been sitting by me. Probably something violent to get them to shut the hell up!

Thing is, a lot of the screams on the olde shows were either piped in or stupidly encouraged by the show's hack producers. All it took was Glen Campbell shaking his beatle hair into the mic to incite a riot in Burbank.
