the guy is cutting edge.

I hope this company makes it! The benefit out ways the price tag. Eventually EV cars will come down in price just flat screen TV's and DVD players.

@tsport100 oo, I like that...

I just dont like batteries. They are very expensive and hard to dispose of safely.

I wish she said gas prices have gone down again right now...

The benefit of electric cars are tremendous. NO MOTOR OIL!!! Means no need for oil change Saves you a lot of money. No need to make an engine. No timing belt and transmission. Two cents a mile. Saves a whole lot of time and energy. Bumper warning sensors will be great. = )

I've seen Phoenix Motors. That company lacks the right people to make it work. The company is being restructured. I like those big EV SUVs. But that company doesn't have the right managerial skills to pull it off. We will have to wait and see what the new managers are going to do.

Unfortunately, not every American will be sold on the EV concept, but people like us will. The model S will be a breaking point for the company. What they need to do is build a truck or SUV and that would be historic. You should check out Phoenix motors.

Yeah, they are bringing out their 50k car in 2011. Then they will do a 30k car. Tesla Motors is awesome.
I hope they use the Better Place method when they sell the Model S. Like leasing the batteries.

clearly something I'm looking forward to. Suddenly, I'm happy to be just 17 ;D
Zero running costs?? what, you don't pay a power bill at home after you charge it?

@xbfalcon351coupe That's right, it's called a feed-in-tarrif, the power company pays you.
