Yeah, love 'em. Bit of an N22 and Caribou fan myself, I love the practical fixed wing ones. ADF have nothing to replace either. It's a real worry. Can't supply Outback and Coastal utility work in cushy Lear jets and capable but thirsty Hercs ALL the time! :-(

Thay have major fatigue problems due to their age. The only thing that can really replace them is a new build Caribou!

One thing that really pisses me off about Avalon is they play MUSIC! Wish they cut the crap and let the planes make the music - typical non-aviation hobo-circus organisers not listening to REAL aviation enthusiasts!
Great video, Anything on film with these birds is precious.
Wish they didn't have to retire them, but I've seen why it's time. Very sad though. Here-here with the F111
