Ya know at first I wanted Jess and Schmidt to have some type of romantic thing going in much later seasons, when he's not such a douche, lol, But I just re-watched the pilot, and I can see that Nick generally likes her. I see they have more chemistry. I think they would be cute 2gether. I really hope this show doesn't get canceled so we can see how they all progress.
