Cleaning Your Windows Context / Dropdown Menu

The Registry directory is
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT - directory - shellex - ContextMenuHandlers


If you want to remove WindowsMediaPlayer from your context menu, got to Start - Run - then type in regsvr32 /u wmpshell.dll and press OK
To restore WindowsMediaPlayer to the context menu go Star - Run - and type regsvr32 wmpshell.dll then press OK

If you want to remove WinZip from your context menu got to Start - Run - then type in regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll and press OK
To restore WinZip to the context menu go Star - Run - and type regsvr32 zipfldr.dll then press OK


If There is any program you want to unregister from your context menu, leave a comment and I'll give you the run prompt to remove it.

Do you mean you download rar/zip files and they automatically open with Win ZIP?

be sure to tell winrar to cascade its menu so instead of like 5 different icons you end up with a single menu labeled winrar that has all the actions in another menu

Cause when i open it CMD Appear's ....... to open it you should right click and click the open menu there... but the default is double click and then it will open... help me pls remove command promt in the right click menu in my hard drive.. Zzz Tnx
