This video consists of tracks from an extremely rare demonstration / sampling LP produced in 1965 entitled "Richesse De La Musique Française Des 16e, 17e et 18e Siècles." LP label can be seen at 6:20; jacket cover, at 11:42 and reverse, 15:55.
Composers featured include Jean-Philippe Rameau (Air de Triomphe, Entree des Troubadours), Louis-Gabriel Guillemain (Conversations Galantes et Amusantes), Jean-Marie Leclair, Jean Baptiste Lully (Bruits de Trompettes, Sinfonies Pour Les Pastres), François Devienne, Marc-Antoine Charpentier (Apres Du Feu L'on Fait L'amour), Gasparo Zanetti, Claude Gervaise, and Marin Marais. Performers include the Jean-Louis Petit chamber orchestra, the Jean-Rene Gravoin instrumental ensemble; artists featured include Roger Delmotte, Jean-Louis Petit, Gaston Maugras, Jacques Herbillon, and Bernard Escavi.
