Royal Sun Alliance - Goddard argues 1% of claims go to proof

Royal Sun Alliance official Goddard gives evidence which contradicts Douglas Mill - the Law Society of Scotland Chief Executive, who claimed that one per cent of cases related to going to court, whereas it actually relates to only 1% of cases which make it to a full proof hearing - something very different than just going to court.

An example of the kind of mis information (lies) which the Law Society of Scotland told the 2006 Justice 2 Committee inquiry into the Legal Profession & Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 2007 - which was passed to bring a measure of independent regulation to the Scottish legal profession.
