FYI-Not many people know this, but the plumb kit that you use for the Andrea Premium, can be used on the Anita as well. The ONLY modification that needs to be done, is a single hole drilled in the back of the case on the Anita.. the Andrea has a pre drilled hole. But NO modification to the plumb kit itself. As you know, the two machines are IDENTICAL on the inside.. the Andrea offers no preformance upgrade, just aesthetics.

I just noticed on the company website that Quick Mill makes meat grinders! I think as a consumer, I would want to purchase a machine made by a company that makes espresso machines only or at least known for their espresso machines...

@joeldamianicigan Ah, yes, they are a stainless steel manufacturer. I believe that they ended up with an espresso machine company through some kind of merger and have been developing them further ever since. - Kat

Have you seen the joystick knobs on the Quick Mill Vetrano? Is that to make it more fun? :)

@joeldamianicigan Ha -- maybe! No, really, some folks like the flip on/off function of the joystick vs. a twist knob. - Kat

Many Anita owners have learned that filling the tank gets old,FAST. As such, many people have bought the direct connect kit for the Andrea, and used it on the Anita. Since there is literally not ONE difference between the machines internally, the kit hooks up the exact same way, without modification. The only mod req, is about a 3/4in hole for the cutoff solenoid to be mounted.

Yeah, I think many folks of leery of cutting holes in the machine and it would void the warranty if they did it themselves, so we don't recommend it....but of course, *anything* is possible ;) - Kat
