I agree with your statement, but I have to ask, how? You make a strong claim that has clearly been thought out, however I don't know if you asked why? Or at least you only considered part of why? Perhaps a part of the why we act superfically is because image matters. It determines whether we are employeed, who are friends are, what we can accomplish in this society. It would be great if we could do as you say. But can we completely remove "superficalness" from our lives and be employeed?
