Suboxone® is useful in the treatment of opiate dependency. New Beginnings Recovery Center in Palm Beach Florida specializes in treating patients that have become dependant on Suboxone® that now desire to be completely drug free.

We have seen that many practitioners are quick to Rx patients on Suboxone®, but lack skill when it comes to helping patients get off it after being on it for some time. The Post Acute Withdrawal Symptoms (PAWS) can be quite troublesome. Special skills are required by practitioners to safely and comfortably withdraw from Suboxone®. At NBRC, we have refined a detox protocol the allows a patient to jump off Suboxone® and have all symptoms, both acute and post acute minimalized. Suboxone® withdrawal tends to be for a longer duration and the PAWS period seems to more intense than other short acting opiates. Because of this fact we have modified our typical opiate detox protocols to address these differences. The goal of the Suboxone® detox treatment is to reduce the length of the PAWS and reduce the level of intensity of the symptoms.

We use various medications that reduce or eliminate acute withdrawal symptoms and PAWS plus we give a series of vitamin injections to replace what has been depleted. This promotes brain health and increases overall well being and reduces cravings The use of Amino Acid Therapy to promote neuro-restoration (brain health) thus aiding in the healing process.

We use various supplements that have proven track record in promoting healing from opiate dependency and reduce cravings. "Coaching" and "hand holding" through the entire process, alleviates the feeling of having to do this alone. For those that live in our local area, we provide optional after care counseling - individual and groups. We offer the use of Naltrexone® to block opiates from brain receptor sites, therefore preventing relapse and reduction of cravings

  • PS - I get my info from treating about 1500 patients per year - whaere do you get yours?

  • I am sorry but the END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS. Yes we use liberal meds, but getting off Suboxone is no walk in the park. Across the board patients are grateful to have had the support meds when they needed it. Any one that truly wants to walk away from this does not mind taking whatever meds are necessary to get thru this. No one that had the deisre to leave this drug typically want to stay on any of the support meds. That is why they come to me - to get clean.

  • No fear. this video is geared for those that have the desire to leave Suboxone behind forever. I can say that across the board, the fear of coming off is far worse than the actual coming off.

Now if you want to fear something, keep taking xanax. Suboxone is a walk in the park compared to coming off benzos!

  • Hi...so you're addicted to heroin and opiates? well here, here's some methadone..later that life..hi, so you're addicted to methadone? well here, here's some suboxone....later that life...Hi, so you're addicted to subxone and you want off? well here, here's some sleeping pills and anxiety bars.....later that life..........................oh shit, IM DEAD!!! is there no fucking end to this hell called addiction????????????

  • @thhunderthighhhss Suboxone does not work on the mu receptors. It's only a partial antagonist....the mu is the "pleasure receptor". Subs do not work the mu receptors.

  • @cadidliac There are sooooo many variables as to the depression one has when coming off of a drug. I found pills in general the hardest mentally. IMO How long one has been addicted to opioids has a lot to do with how much depression they will have. It's because it replaces the dopamine and seratonin in the brain, thus the brain stops producing these chemicals which leads to depression. If it wasn't for the depression and lack of motivation caused by it, I would be clean by now!

  • What is this junk about being depressed? Duh!! You get depressed coming off any opiat.........Liar!!!

  • @dennishansen12 I actuall y found a bottle of 90 baclofen pills that my Sub doctor prescribed me at the beginning, im gonna try it. Sorry for calling you piece of shit,, im desparate and upset about this addiction.

  • Baclofen, Passionflower liquid drops and tea, clonidine, Valerian liquid drops, and pill form. Even short term Wellbutrin, which ofcourse the pharm that produced this drug never mentioned it helped WD's somewhat but is rather used as a "atypical anti-depressent" Let's see, Quinine liquid drops, with clonidine(clonidine with passionflower and Quinine works very well in combo as an anticraving agent, and for physical.

  • @Dennishansen-Oh, all of a sudden you're being a bit kinder in giving advice. My kindness comes from the cruely of getting off a terrible drug for me(I understand it has benefits for some ,and I'm not going to bash on that). I should have never been prescribed this drug based on the pain killer addiction I had. Sub binds long term, making it harder to get off than pure opiates, hence pharm=multimillions in getting addicts to take their subs knowing fully well how hard it is to get off.

  • @Douglasdolly-It's because these corporations that support the pharm company who produces this so called damn "miracle drug" are connected by the hip with these fraudalent rehab centers. They tell you they can put you off suboxone, after long term hell, even short temr use, but they don't ever mention the reality of the % of people who leave there and relapse right back on. Email me, and I will give you as much advice as I can as I'[m someone who after 5 yrs was able to get off:) I'll help you,
