I'm so sorry you feel this way about such an awesome event! RFL has done wonderful things for supporting cancer patients and rasining awareness. Downtown is a perfect location and as a lifetimer of Bellingham & a tax payer...it make me feel GREAT to know we are putting some our tax dollars to good use! AND if I did live around the downtown area I would be SUPPORTIVE & put up with the so called noise...maybe instead of being upset you should support, because Cancer can affect anyone of us!!!!

If only they would find a little more remote location that wouldn't disturb the residents of downtown, or at least put their f'ing loudspeaker at the end of the block and not right by an apartment building!

Relay for Life is such a wonderful organization,and a great place to share,pray, and remember those who have lost their fight or are still fighting. I have been participating in Relay for as long as I can remember and just last year, got my Middle School to participate in it. I was very happy. There were still only, about 10 kids, but... lots of love and prayer to those fighting the fight -Erin (14 years old)

I have cancer, have family members that have died of cancer, know people with cancer and cancer survivors. I will die of cancer, but I won't bother other people about it.
Good luck and raise lots of money. I do my donating quietly and without any fanfare, and whoever lives there can just be damned, because everyone gets cancer eventually, if they live long enough.
