I am privileged to say that I was in attendance at this show (my band played Rebellion '07 & '08) I was right up in front of the captain. Great memories!

The Damned are playing at the Joe Strummer festival Strummercamp in May 2009.

Saw them in Oxford last night, fucking brilliant and Captain even got his arse out doing Happy Talk as an extra encore, what a Christmas treat!

I will say though that the Damned at their peak was when Brian James was with them and the classic 1st album Damned Damned Damned was their best release.
