Tangipahoa Parich Council Animal Shelter Slaughter HSUS

Aug 11,2008 Parish council meeting allowed HSUS to come in and conduct an investigation. Over 200 people came to the meeting, but only 99 could fit inside the chambers. The crowd of people in attendance speaking for the 170+ dogs & cats barbaricly killed on Aug. 4, 08. Several caring people spoke and many held up sign with the names and pictures of those killed. Outside the crowd called for better conditions and change in the government starting with the lousy parish president Gordon Burgess. I only hope that on his judgement day he is given one thing and that is a pitch fork to the heart without sedation!!!!!!
