Three Members of Parliament want parliament to be recalled as soon as possible over the recent Hague ruling. The MPs, allied to the new political grouping UDF say the house must move to avert what they called a serious political fall out among parties represented in parliament. The legislators, Abdikadir Mohammed, Jeremiah Kioni and Nderitu Mwangi, expressed fears that the current political environment may become polarized and distract MPs from addressing critical issues facing the country. The MPs lauded the resignation of Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and secretary to the cabinet Ambassador Francis Muthaura following the confirmation of charges against them by the International Criminal Court.

  • Well said Hon Abdikadir; but where is your political partner, the Rt. Hon. Paul Muite? He is so lost and I really miss his political analysis. I hope he is not sitting on the fence at such a crucial time. He should be campaigning and helping in nation building through his expert opinion on political issues.

  • @Maweresistance Seriously Dude???

  • You ain't gon be our president. You are ok but no let's first be sure the Northern Frontier even wants to be a part of us.

  • when is Kenya's parliament ever in session?? it is always in holiday. Parliaments around the world came from their christmas breaks in the 1st week of January n r fully functioning. our bloody parliament has yet to open. no wonder we are a doomed country.

  • I think we need to debate this issue with sober mind.

  • we have kenyans in court everyday in their thousands how come parliament has never debated their issues?

  • YOU HAD TWO YEARS , AND SOME EXTENDED PERIOD OF MONTHS TO SET UP A JUDICIAL MECHANISM TO TRY AO WAUWAJI. mulikuwa munacheza. even so, the way kibaki et al company are fighting to save two of its members , do you honestly believe we would have had fair local trial?absolute rubbish!! you had 2 bloody years, mulikuwa munacheza tu siasa. i dont think majority of kenyans want to go back to ile siasa ya 08. the country is bigger than 4 mass murderes

  • there is absolutely nothing to debate here. ruto mwenyewe alisema the icc should investigate alleged perpetrators before he found out that alikuwa miongoni mwao. githae with dont be vague say hague. the day parliament was supposed to set up a local quorum, it never even met the required 30mps quorum to pass tht bill.even ruto's followers were not there, just bcoz raila odinga initially supported the proposal, wakaikataa. YOU SHALL REAP WHAT YOU SOWED YOU EFFIN IDIOTS

  • Kenya needs such sober minds

  • ..right said!!
