A visit to the Fenland Light Railway, at Ramsey Mereside near Whittlesea, Cambridgeshire.

Mike and myself had visited in the summer of 2009 to take a look at Terry's 'Harlech Castle' locomotive, a 7.25" gauge 1/3rd scale model built originally by Wistow Lines. This was at the start of our own project to build a couple of Baguley Drewrys and we were looking for ideas.

This video was taken on the return visit, when we brought our own 'Harlech' and 'Criccieth', hereafter known as 'Bouncy Castle', to run alongside Terry's big 'Harlech'. Things were a bit hectic with many boiler tests going on, and only Bouncy made it out of the trailer and did limited running, but it was an interesting visit nevertheless and much chatting and tea drinking took place.

Have a look at their website www.fenlandlightrailway.co.uk for details of running dates etc
