An unknown but a gem of a little shooter. it was released by Seibu Denshi and distributed by Sony in 1985 for the MSX.

The object of the game is to destroy several ground object in order to go to the next level.

This shooter was well advanced for its time: axis rotating fighters attacking you, an end boss monster at each level and well developed graphics too.

On the later levels this game becomes a difficult shooter. It is a very frantic game much more so than Sky Jaguar (Konami) or other comparable shooters from that era and only Exa Innova (Compile) is more frantic and difficult.

This game is a must for every retro-game shooter fan.

Later Seibu Denshi changed its name into Seibu Kaihatsu makers of Raiden

    そですね、スクロールがいいです。

  • I have a friend who is a pretty big fan of Xevious that might find this interesting, if he hasn't already played it. Thanks for posting this gameplay video! It was fun to watch. Maybe I'll give this game a shot, myself, some day.

  • Thanks for your reaction. I guess that your friend will like this game although he might consider it to be much more primitive in comparison with Xevious.

I think you will like this game.

  • This is a port of an arcade game, I've played the arcade one on Mame.

Played this a lot on my MSX back on the old days:)

  • Thanks for this information.

  • Wow, I did not know that. Thanks for sharing this information.

  • Thanks for your reaction.

Yes you are absolutely right. Scrolling was often bad for MSX games) but apart from that it was an excellent system.

  • wonderful

the only thing that MSX needed to own all other systems of its time was a hardware scrolling support

(most games scrolling must be 8 pixels each move)
