avpm - rehearsal

All righty. So we got permission for making this video by starkidpotter. Ahem: "So, yeah, if you and your friends want to privately do a number and put it up as a response, that's 100% cool."

We have been working on this since October of 2009 and this was our private 'dress rehearsal'. I have never posted a video on youtube before, so I apologize for all that I am unaware of, but we hope to get the actual video to be better on Monday - our last private performance.

We're not perfect at all of this, and have technically had a lot of things that held us back... you would not imagine how difficult it is to claim a stage at the high school. Let me go on a rant. You see, you have to talk to calendar lady, claim the thing, (But only on Fridays!) and you have to have a teacher stay after with you. Anyway, the character who plays Harry and I, and several others as well had to ask 16 billion teachers to stay after school with us. [I've been told I exaggerate] What normal person wants to stay after school and watch children?? Indeed, once, the teacher who was supposed to stay after with us for three hours, went to an amusement park with his wife instead! (he caught pneumonia...)

Not only this, but we've had character changes and whatnot for a number of different reasons causing us to switch things up, and ensuring that we did indeed have to have two characters play two different roles. We had to cut out the Neville part because we did not have enough people. We've also had to add lines. Have I mentioned our almost entirely female cast playing male roles? lol. Not only this, but did you know that its very difficult to transfer from a practice in a bedroom, to a stage! It's a process! I knew none of this.

But all in all, I'm highly proud of everyone. Especially for sticking with it for all this time. I appreciate that more than I can convey! lol, we even made harry potter cupcakes... those were magical...

I'm sorry for the not perfectness of the camera. We appreciate our random camera guy today though! We would've had nothing if it wasn't for him!

Wow, I sure am giving a speech. But why not you know?
so yep, we only did part one and two. but who knew all my friends had such amazing singing voices!?
