Ditto to all of the above. One of the easiest tutorials I've seen...explaining both strumming and chords in detail. Thank you. A favorite song of mine as well as I was 16 when this came out.

Thanks so much for this lesson and the accompanying lessons too. I already played a basic version with parts of the melody but without the A11 and second position chords and other embellishments you show. I'm incorporating some of this into my version and it really livens the song up. I just noticed you posted this lesson on Nov 10, 2010 that's the 35th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Thanks so much for this lesson. I have always loved this song and thought it was much harder to play than this. Your lesson was excellent, progressing step by step through the chords to strumming. Thanks again for showing us how it's done.
