BTW amp settings are...

Plugged into bright channel only. Normal volume on 8 (though not plugged in), Bright channel on 8, treble on 10, mids on 10, bass on 2 and presence on 10.

Having all the tones up full really gives you screaming gain. I didn't need any sort of boost at all. I was in heaven.

Keep in mind this is my "new" bright channel with bright caps removed and 1.5k screen grid resistors on the output tubes. Basically trying to match the same specs as Udo in those fantastic clips of his JTM45.

i love the sound Jimmy uses one this. i think he selects the middle position on the pickup toggle, but you can get a very similar sound if you use the treble pickup and roll off the tone a bit, if i remember correctly. it's pretty useful if you have the Peter Green mod like i do :)
