Curt Smith is best known as a musician, singer and songwriter who co-founded the seminal music group Tears For Fears, with which he continues to tour worldwide. He also produces and hosts the live music web series "Stripped Down Live With Curt Smith" and pursues his own solo music career. His most recent release, "Perfectly...Still (featuring Universal Hall Pass)" is the second song of an album-length project on which Smith is collaborating with artists he meets or discovers via social media. Smith is also currently at work on songs that he's been commissioned to write for film and television.

  • Such a wonderful footage. Thank-you for posting it. Glad to hear such interesting subjects from Curt. I liked that line when he says he writes when he wants to bring out intensive emotions and when he is happy, he is just happy". Kudos to him for collaborating with interesting new artists and promoting good music. Truly a gem of a person and an inspiration.

By the way, I didn't know that Curt's wife is Welsh.

  • That's just wow Curt...you are a very intelligent and very good speaker...<3

  • very very clear video! thanks a lot for sharing...Mr. Curt Smith, all my respect and love <3

  • ...so much so that if I had the chance during my teenage years, I might have been one of those crazy fans undressing you. Thank god I grew up, and have enjoyed your music as you've also matured and your music has evolved. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. :)

  • Very insightful... I'm so glad you continually express your creativity in your own way. Yes, us fans don't know the real you. But the amazing talent we've seen for decades now makes us love you & wish we really knew you. I don't blame you one bit for disliking the crazy fans who ripped your shirt off. When I first fell in love with TFF I was 13, & at that age, with no father in the house, you & Roland made a huge impact on me...

  • one of the very intelligent musicians of the 80"s!

  • deep!
