-SPOT 333-

Fishing along East River Park's treacherous Shoreline. The target, a Bass Believed to be spotted.

http://www.igfa.org/species/90-bass-spotted.aspx

I am in fact NOT 100% And have debated releasing this video since a month in half ago when it was filmed. But The Bass I Catch on the Main Branch of the river are totally different then the ones I catch along the North shore and North Branch channels. Perhaps different strains of Large mouth Rather then an actual spotted Bass, Being Native to the Mississippi River it Makes sense of how it would be possible for them to get here over the years And that's where my mind led me towards a northern spotted Bass strain because of the spots below The distinct Black line as well as what I thought to be The main identifier The Rear of the lower lip extending past the eye while the fish is in fact in a relaxed closed mouth position.

I'm Leaving this video up, But still skeptical as I have been.

One thing I am sure of

The Bass I catch in lake Michigan and the Main Branch Have big mouths, with the rear lower lip extending past the eye.

The Bass I catch in the North shore and north Branches are stockier, Smaller Mouths (Have to use smaller Baits) and the lower rear of the lip aligns with the eye.
